The City will purchase the <br />necessary items or will rent them and/or obtain them from another governmental agency. <br /> <br />A. COPY MACHINE <br /> <br />Employees may make personal photocopies on City machines and pay for any copies <br />made per fee established by City. Copies must be kept to a minimum. <br /> B. FAX MACHINE <br /> <br />Employees may receive personal faxes at the City, provided the faxing does not interfere <br />with City business. <br /> C. POSTAGE MACHINE <br /> <br />Employees are not allowed to use the postage machine for personal mail without prior <br />authorization from a Supervisor. Employees shall pay for the amount of the postage <br />used. <br /> <br />D. PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE FACILITY <br /> <br />Employees are not permitted to use the Public Works Garage or the equipment therein <br />for personal use. <br /> E. TELEPHONE USE <br /> <br />Employees may make personal calls during business hours as long as the number and <br />length of personal calls are kept to a minimum. Any abuses of this limited privilege may <br />subject the employee to disciplinary action. <br /> <br />Employees receiving calls from citizens shall answer promptly and identify themselves <br />and the department which they represent. They shall be courteous, tactful, and use good <br />judgment at all times. <br /> <br />F. TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />City tools and equipment are not to be used for anything other than City purposes. City <br />tools charged out to any employee, upon a written receipt, which are lost or broken <br />through misuse by the employee shall be replaced at the employee's expense. <br /> <br />G. VEHICLES <br /> 1. City Vehicles <br />City employees are encouraged to make use of City vehicles whenever <br />possible for City business. Vehicles are provided for the performance of <br />employee responsibilities relating to their job functions. The following rules <br />for City vehicle use apply to all City Vehicles: <br />
