RESOLUTION 9291 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZE REPAIRS TO UNIT #723 — CAT BACKHOE <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff evaluated the condition of unit #723, a CAT <br />Backhoe and determined that the unit was in good to great condition; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff determined that a minor overhaul was need to extend the life of <br />this unit; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff received a quote from Ziegler CAT for the estimated needed <br />repair work for $12,205.00; and <br />WHEREAS, Repairs are budgeted in the Water Fund, 700-4823-5130, which <br />includes $12,000.00 for this backhoe overhaul. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The Council hereby approves the quote from Ziegler CAT of Minneapolis, MN, <br />for $12,205.00 for overhauling the CAT Backhoe, unit #723. <br />2. Funding is budgeted in the Water Fund, 700-4823-5130. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4.
