RESOLUTION NO. 9295 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FOR <br />ALEXIS BOSTROM WORKING IN HIGHER CLASSIFICATION <br />WHEREAS, Alexis Bostrom has agreed to work overtime during the Police <br />Records/Evidence Technicians eight (8) week absence, in order to cover the higher <br />classification jobs priority responsibilities, while maintaining her own job duties as the <br />Police Administrative Assistant; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Bostrom took on the additional job responsibilities effective July <br />27, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Bostrom is willing to work extended hours to cover both positions <br />to keep the department fully functioning until the return of the Police Records/Evidence <br />Technician. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves: <br />1. Authorizing additional compensation for Alexis Bostrom working in a higher job <br />classification effective July 27, 2020 until the return of the Police <br />Records/Evidence Technician, anticipated by the end of September, 2020. <br />2. Ms. Bostrom's wage will increase to Step 1.5 of the Police Records/Evidence <br />Technician Pay Plan and advance to Step 2 on September 3, 2020, which is <br />Ms. Bostrom's scheduled annual wage increase. <br />3. Ms. Bostrom's wage will return to Step 3 of the Police Administrative Assistant <br />Pay Plan after the return of the Police Records/Evidence Technician, provided <br />dates coincide with Ms. Bostrom's anniversary date. <br />Bostrom Current Wage (Police Administrative Assistant): <br />Step 1 Step 1.5 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 <br />$21.02 $21.67 $22.33 $23.64 $24.96 $26.27 <br />Police Records/Evidence Technician Wage - Proposed for Ms. Bostrom: <br />Step 1 Step 1.5 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 <br />$23.06 $23.78 $24.51 $25.95 $27.39 $28.83 <br />Adopted this 10th August, 2020. <br />Carol A.
