RESOLUTION 9302 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING RECIEPT OF CARES ELECTION FUND GRANT TO BE ALLOCATED <br />TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Ramsey County to operate and <br />administer elections; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County applied for and received CARES Act Election <br />Funding; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has detailed their intended use of the funds and in <br />summary include — ensuring health and safety of election officials and voters, public <br />outreach and education, costs associated with increase in absentee balloting, preparation <br />of training materials and administration, and technology improvements; and <br />WHEREAS, each contract municipality is required to execute and agreement in <br />order for Ramsey County to receive that municipalities calculated award amount; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds Views share is $6033.09. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute <br />the 2020 - CARES Act Election Grant County - Municipal Agreement. <br />Adopted this 24th day of August, 2020 <br />Carol A Mueller, M <br />ATTEST: <br />Ny)K ZikpKund, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />.4 Tbrnving Desirable Community <br />
