Resolution 1110-19, Adopting the 2020 Regular Meeting Schedule for the <br />Mounds View Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald stated the Planning and Zoning Commission Bylaws, <br />Section VI, states that the annual meeting schedule of the Commission shall be adopted by <br />Resolution at the first regular meeting in December for the following year (2020). Subject to this <br />Resolution, regular meetings will occur on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. <br />The Bylaws do not establish a time. Historically, Commission meetings begin at 7:00 pm. Staff <br />requested meetings in 2020 start at 6:30 pm, to be consistent with the City Council and other <br />commissions. He noted the January 1st meeting would be canceled. Staff commented further on <br />the meeting schedule and requested approval. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Chair Stevenson/Commissioner Rundle. To approve Resolution 1110-19, <br />a Resolution Adopting the 2020 Regular Meeting Schedule for the Mounds View Planning and <br />Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner French stated he would like more time to review his calendar prior to changing <br />the meeting start time. <br /> <br />Chair Stevenson recommended the Resolution be approved with the meeting dates and that the <br />meeting time be addressed in January. The Commission was in agreement. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 7 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />7. Reports <br /> <br />A. Upcoming Planning Cases & Activity <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald discussed upcoming planning cases with the <br />Commission. He reported a car wash be was proposed for the Snyder’s property. <br /> <br />B. Staff Updates <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald provided the Commission with an update from staff. <br />He discussed the work that was being done on Edgewood Middle School. He reported the <br />Crossroad Pointe project had begun construction and was renamed Greystone Flats. <br /> <br />C. Council Updates <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He commented on the demolition work that had been done on the Skyline Motel <br />property. He discussed the 2020 budget and tax levy, along with the improvements that were <br />planned for the City’s water treatment plant. He reported the final design plans for the 2020
