In practice, all of the important decisions are <br />made at the Preliminary Plat stage (e.g. streets, sidewalks, drainage, etc.). At Final Plat <br />stage, the intent is that there are no significant changes since the Preliminary Plat. <br />Removing the Commission’s review of Final Plats speeds up the process. <br /> <br /> <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal <br />Maintain and plan for infrastructure improvements. <br /> <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />None. <br /> <br /> <br />Summary <br />Staff is continuing work on updating all chapters of the City Code, and currently; Chapter 1200 <br />regarding land subdivision. The most significant change is combining Minor and Major <br />subdivisions into one process. The intent is to treat all proposed divisions equally. <br /> <br />The City Council will conduct its First Reading and Introduction on January 13th, and Second <br />Reading and Adoption on January 27th. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission is requested to consider the following options; <br /> <br /> <br />1. Resolution 1113-20, recommending approval of Ordinance 972. <br /> <br />2.
