Council Updates <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause provided the Planning Commission with an update from the City <br />Council. He reported the City recently received word that Mounds View had achieved Step 2 in <br />the Green Steps City program. He noted the Simon’s and Tires N’More properties were both for <br />sale. He explained Amy Hodges was selected for Mounds View’s Citizen of the Year. He <br />updated the Commission regarding the noise wall being installed as part of the MnDOT <br />MNPASS project. It was noted this was a three year project. <br /> <br />D. Planning Commissioner Reports <br /> <br />Commissioner Klander stated this was his last meeting noting he would be moving to Shoreview <br />later this month. He explained he has enjoyed serving on the Planning Commission. He indicated <br />he would really miss Mounds View and his neighbors. <br /> <br />Commissioner Monn thanked Commissioner Klander for his dedicated service to the community. <br /> <br /> <br />8. Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />April 15, 2020. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Commissioner Rundle/Commissioner Farmer. To approve the Minutes of <br />the April 15, 2020 regular Planning Commission meetings as presented. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was taken. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 6 Nays – 0 Abstain – 1 (Klander) Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />9.
