Mounds View City Council September 14, 2020 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br />1 Evaluation Policy. <br />2 <br />3 Human Resources Coordinator Ewald requested the Council approve revisions to the Employee <br />4 Performance and Evaluation Policy. She reported a goal of the City was for management to <br />5 establish clear goals for all personnel. She indicated the management team met this summer and <br />6 established clear values. The six core values were described at length. Staff discussed the proposed <br />7 revisions in further detail with the Council and recommended approval of the revised document. <br />8 <br />9 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9306, <br />10 Approving Revisions to the Employee Performance and Evaluation Policy. <br />11 <br />12 Council Member Meehlhause stated he serves on the Human Resources Committee with Council <br />13 Member Hull. He explained he was very pleased with the work that has been completed on the <br />14 Employee Performance and Evaluation Policy. <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />A roll call vote was taken. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />23 Council Member Gunn reported resident Dorianne Jarchow had challenged all Mounds View <br />24 residents to decorate their yards for Halloween. She explained the Mounds View Lions would be <br />25 serving as judges and would be handing out a $50 prize to the winner. <br />26 <br />27 Council Member Bergeron stated he would be attending a virtual Cable Commission meeting on <br />28 Thursday, September 171h <br />29 <br />30 Council Member Meehlhause indicated he would be attending a Convention Bureau meeting on <br />31 Tuesday, September 15th. He noted he would be attending an NYFS Finance Committee meeting <br />32 on Thursday, September 171h and on Wednesday, September 23rd he would be attending an NYFS <br />33 HR Committee meeting. He stated he would be attending an NYFS Board meeting on Thursday, <br />34 September 24th. <br />35 <br />36 Council Member Meehlhause reported the Lions would be holding their annual garage sale from <br />37 Wednesday, September 23rd through Friday, September 251h at Hillview Park. The event would <br />38 run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Mueller stated she would be attending the Ramsey County Dispatch Policy Committee <br />41 meeting on Tuesday, September 151h <br />42 <br />43 Mayor Mueller discussed the methods in which residents could vote for the upcoming General <br />44 Election. She noted absentee in -person voting would occur from September 181h through <br />45 November 2"d. She explained voting on election day, November 3rd, would occur at the Mounds <br />46 View Community Center. She indicated Ramsey County was still seeking election judges and <br />
