City, school staff and Medium -term <br />students <br />Goal 6: Maintain, repair, and improve the City's stormwater system infrastructure as necessary. <br />TRANSPORTATION POLICIES IMPLEMENTING BODY TIMELINE <br />Goal 1: Support Transit Oriented Development (TOD) through supportive transit options. <br />Expand transit routes through Mounds View, City planning and Long-term <br />including the city's northeast quadrant, where engineering staff, <br />there are gaps in the service area. commissions and elected <br />officials <br />Encourage transit innovation and implementation, City staff in coordination Ongoing <br />including future Bus Rapid Transit, alternative with regional transportation <br />modes of transit (e.g. autonomous vehicles), and partners <br />electric vehicles. <br />Work with MTC to invest in permanent Park & City and MTC staff Medium -term <br />Ride facilities. <br />Advocate for transit including the preservation of City staff, commissions, Short-term <br />existing routes, investments in permanent Park & elected officials and <br />Ride facilities, and support for Transit Oriented residents <br />Development. <br />Improve permanent mass transit stations, City and regional Long-term <br />including seating, shelters, and signage for all transportation staff <br />ages and abilities. <br />Goal 2: Complete the remaining 20% of street reconstruction and maintain a long-term fiscal <br />plan for maintenance and replacement of City infrastructure. <br />Goal 3: Balance community and commuting needs by enhancing characteristics that improve <br />the City's Boulevard. <br />Coordinate with Ramsey County access City and Ramsey County Short-term and <br />management to balance needs of travelling public staff ongoing <br />with needs of residents and local property owners. <br />Minimize non -local traffic from driving through City engineering staff Medium -term <br />residential neighborhoods. <br />Chapter 7: Implementation 1 7-12 <br />
