COMPREHENSIVE SEWER PLAN <br />Sanitary Sewer Trunk System <br />September 15, 2020 <br />This is consistent with City staff observation and monitoring of the system, which indicates no capacity <br />issues. <br />There are two lift stations located in the City. Information on these lift stations is provided in Table 4-1. <br />Table 4-1 — Lift Station Data <br />4.2 INTERCOMMUNITY FLOWS <br />There is one intercommunity flow into the Mounds View system, from a few buildings in the existing <br />TCAAP area in Arden Hills, as shown on Map 1. There are several intercommunity flows out of the City's <br />system into neighboring communities, as shown on Map 1: <br />• Area A discharges into the Spring Lake Park system <br />• Areas B-D discharge into the Blaine system <br />• Areas E and F discharge into the Fridley system <br />An intercommunity service agreement with Fridley is provided in Appendix G. There are currently no <br />active intercommunity service agreements for the other intercommunity flows. The City is working on such <br />agreements and will supply them when they are executed. <br />4.3 INDIVIDUAL SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS (ISTS) <br />There is just one remaining ISTS within Mounds View. It is located near Hwy 10 in the northern part of <br />the city. Its location is shown on Map 1, Trunk Sanitary Sewer System. <br />Chapter 907 of the Mounds View City Code (Appendix E) requires that all existing buildings adjacent to a <br />sewer main and all new buildings shall be connected to the City sewer system, at which point any existing <br />septic system will be pumped and filled. <br />4.4 PUBLICLY AND PRIVATELY OWNED WASTEWATER TREATMENT <br />PLANTS <br />There are no publicly or privately -owned wastewater treatment plants within Mounds View. <br />M <br />v:\1938\active\193804167\reports\2018 csp\submitted to city 9-8-2020\moundsviewcsp_formcesreview_09152020_updateddraft.docx 4.8 <br />
