8.0 IMPLEMENTATION 8.1 OFFICIAL CONTROLS It is the intent of the City to take over responsibility for the permitting of stormwater and wetlands. From the assessment of the City's official controls presented in Table 6.1, Table 8.1 identifies the implementation actions necessary to address this action. Table 8.1 — City Code Implementation Actions ii .. Construction Site and Land Disturbance Update within 180 days of RCWD approval of the Runoff Control LSWMP to adopt RCWD Rule D and to comply with MS4 permit. Update within 180 days of RCWD approval of the Post Construction Site Runoff Control LSWMP to adopt RCWD Rule C and to comply with MS4 permit. Update within 180 days of RCWD approval of the Flood Plain Management LSWMP to adopt RCWD Rule E and to comply with MS4 permit. Update within 180 days of RCWD approval of the Wetlands and Public Waters LSWMP to adopt RCWD Rule F and to comply with MS4 permit. 8.2 SURFACE WATER SYSTEM OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE Mounds View's existing surface water management system is a major investment for the City. The ongoing maintenance of this existing surface water management system is critical to protecting this valuable investment.
