RESOLUTION NO. 9354 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEVERANCE FOR PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />TIMOTHY FREDBERG <br />WHEREAS, Timothy Fredberg has retired from the City of Mounds View; his last day of <br />employment was November 30, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View <br />and the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit, Mr. Fredberg will receive a cash payout of <br />vacation hours and compensatory time; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, 65% of Mr. <br />Fredberg's sick leave hours will be deposited into his Retirement Health Savings Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Fredberg's balance of accrued and unused vacation is 0.35 hours and <br />his compensation balance is 0.00 hours; and <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Fredberg's balance of accrued and unused sick leave is 334.55 hours; <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Fredberg's rate of pay upon resignation was $30.84 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />severance to Public Works Maintenance Worker Timothy Fredberg consistent with the Labor <br />Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and <br />Section 2.11 and 2.12 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />0.35 <br />$30.84 <br />$10.79 Cash Payout <br />Compensatory Hours <br />0.00 <br />$30.84 <br />$0.00 Cash Payout <br />65% of Sick Leave <br />217.46 <br />$30.84 <br />$6,706.47 Into RHSP <br />Total Severance: <br />$6.717.26 <br />Adopted this 14th day of December, 2020. <br />4W ���� <br />Carol A.
