RESOLUTION NO 9366 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE HIRE OF LEAH VANDECAR TO <br />EVENT MANAGER / RECREATION COORDINATOR <br />WHEREAS, Council recommended approval of the City operating a Park and <br />Recreation Department; and <br />WHEREAS, staff created a job description for the Event Manager/Program <br />Coordinator position and revised the title to Event Manager/Recreation Coordinator; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the following pay range has been set for the position: <br />Ste 1 <br />Ste 1.5 <br />Ste 2 <br />Ste 3 <br />Ste 4 <br />Step 5 <br />$24.04 <br />1 $24.70 <br />$25.54 <br />$27.05 <br />$28.55 <br />$30.05 <br />WHEREAS, the Event Manager/Recreation Coordinator position has been <br />offered to Leah Vandecar who has worked at the Mounds View Community Center <br />for the nine (9) and a half (1/2) years; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Vandecar has agreed to accept the position with a hire date <br />of January 1, 2021 at Step 1.5 of the Pay Plan, with vacation accumulating at 15 <br />days per year; and <br />WHEREAS, after a successful six (6) month probationary period, Ms. <br />Vandecar would advance to Step 2 on July 1, 2021, Step 3 on July 1, 2022, Step 4 <br />on July 1, 2023, and Step 5 on July 1, 2024. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, hereby approves the revised Event Manager/Recreation <br />Coordinator Job Description (attached) and authorizes Staff to complete the hire of Leah <br />Vandecar with a hire date of January 1, 2020 and an official start date of January 4, <br />2021. <br />Adopted this 14th day of December, 2020. <br />Carol A.
