Mr. Fredberg <br />has been employed by the City for 26 years (May 9, 1994) as a Public Works Maintenance Worker. <br />Attached is Resolution 9354, which authorizes severance to Mr. Fredberg in accordance with the City's <br />Personnel Manual. <br />Discussion <br />Section 2.12 of the Personnel Manual indicates that employees who resign shall be compensated for any <br />accrued and unused vacation hours and, with two (2) or more years of service, employees are eligible to <br />receive a payout of sick leave subject to the terms and provisions addressed in Section 2.11 regarding <br />the Retirement Health Savings Plan.
