Mr. Fredberg has been employed by the City for 26 years (May 9, 1994) as a Public Works Maintenance Worker. Attached is Resolution 9354, which authorizes severance to Mr. Fredberg in accordance with the City's Personnel Manual. Discussion Section 2.12 of the Personnel Manual indicates that employees who resign shall be compensated for any accrued and unused vacation hours and, with two (2) or more years of service, employees are eligible to receive a payout of sick leave subject to the terms and provisions addressed in Section 2.11 regarding the Retirement Health Savings Plan. Mr. Fredberg's current leave balances are 0.35 hours of vacation, 0.00 of compensatory time, and 334.55 hours of sick time.
