RESOLUTION NO 9365 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING THE HIRE OF DARRYL THIBODEAUX TO <br />RECREATION COORDINATOR <br />WHEREAS, Council recommended approval of the City operating a Park and <br />Recreation Department; and <br />WHEREAS, staff created a job description for the Program Coordinator <br />position and revised the title to Recreation Coordinator; and <br />WHEREAS, the following pay range has been set for the position: <br />Step 1 <br />Step 1.5 <br />Step 2 <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Step 5 <br />$24.04 <br />$24.70 <br />$25.54 <br />$27.05 <br />$28.55 <br />$30.05 <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Coordinator position has been offered to Darryl <br />Thibodeaux who has worked at the Mounds View Community Center for the three <br />(3) and a half (1/2) years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Thibodeaux has agreed to accept the position with a hire date <br />of January 1, 2021 at Step 1 of the Pay Plan, with vacation accumulating at 15 days <br />per year; and <br />WHEREAS, after a successful six (6) month probationary period, Mr. <br />Thibodeaux would advance to Step 1.5 on July 1, 2021, Step 2 on January 1, 2022, <br />Step 3 on January 1, 2023, Step 4 on January 1, 2024, and Step 4 on January 1, <br />2024 and Step 5 on January 1, 2025. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota, hereby approves the revised Recreation Coordinator Job <br />Description (attached) and authorizes Staff to complete the hire of Darryl Thibodeaux <br />with a hire date of January 1, 2020 and an official start date of January 4, 2021. <br />Adopted this 14t" day of December, 2020. <br />Carol A.
