MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION 1108-19 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ORDINANCE 970 <br />AMENDING TITLE 1100, CHAPTERS 1102, 1103, 1104, 1105, 1112, 1113, 1123, AND 1125 <br />OF THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is in the process of amending the City Code to be <br />consistent with Minnesota Statutes, case law, and general updates; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered proposed amendments to Title <br />1100 (Zoning Code); and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />recommends approval of Ordinance 970, amending Title 1100 of the City Code. <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1102, Section 1102.02 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined <br />material and deleting the stricken material as follows: <br />Subd. 70. LOT, FRONTAGE: The front of the lot shall be, for purposes of complying with this <br />Title, that boundary abutting a public right of way having the least width. <br />Subd. 73. LOT LINE, FRONT: That boundary of a lot which abuts a street, and in the case of <br />a corner lot, it shall be the shortest dimension on a public street; should the said dimensions <br />be equal, the owner shall designate the front for the record the front lot line shall be <br />determined by the Zoning Administrator. <br />Subd. 77. LOT WIDTH: The mean horizontal distance between the side lot lines of a lot, <br />measured within the lot boundaries. In the case of irregularly shaped lots located on a cul- <br />de-sac or curved street, lot width shall be measured at the required front and rear setback <br />lines. <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter <br />1103, Section 1103.03, Subdivision 5 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double - <br />underlined material as follows: <br />Subd. 5.
