Mounds View EDA January 11, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />None. 1 <br />2 <br />7.EDA BUSINESS 3 <br />4 <br />A.Resolution 21-EDA-339, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds5 <br />View Economic Development Authority (EDA).6 <br />7 <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the EDA elect and appoint officers for 2021. 8 <br />9 <br />President Mueller stated the Mayor of the City has served as the President of the EDA in the past 10 <br />and she would like this to continue. She questioned who would like to serve as the EDA Vice 11 <br />President. 12 <br />13 <br />Commissioner Cermak volunteered to serve as the EDA Vice President. 14 <br />15 <br />Commissioner Meehlhause commented he would serve as the EDA Treasurer. 16 <br />17 <br />Commissioner Hull stated he would continue to serve as the EDA Secretary. 18 <br />19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 21-EDA-20 <br />339, Electing and Appointing Officers to the Mounds View Economic Development Authority 21 <br />(EDA) as discussed. 22 <br />23 <br />A roll call vote was taken. 24 <br />25 <br />Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 26 <br />27 <br />B.Resolution 21-EDA-340, Approving Home Energy Visit Agreement between28 <br />the Economic Development Authority and the Center for Energy and29 <br />Environment.30 <br />31 <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the EDA approve a Home Energy Visit 32 <br />Agreement between the EDA and the Center for Energy and Environment. He reported Kennedy 33 <br />& Graven had reviewed this agreement, made suggested changes and recommended approval. 34 <br />35 <br />Terry Chaney, Outreach Specialist with the Center for Energy and Environment, discussed the 36 <br />home energy visits and services that were being provided to Mounds View residents. 37 <br />38 <br />Commissioner Meehlhause explained he took advantage of this program several years ago and he 39 <br />recommended all residents schedule an energy visit. He questioned how many Mounds View 40 <br />residents have scheduled visits with the Center for Energy and Environment. Mr. Chainy 41 <br />reported in 2019 there were 10 visits and in 2020 there were 20. 42
