To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9370, <br />Selection of the Acting Mayor, Treasurer and Official Newspaper and Depositories for 2021 as <br />discussed. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member-elect Theresa Cermak joined the meeting at 6:46 p.m. and took her <br />ceremonial Oath of Office administered by Administrator Zikmund. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 9371, Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as <br />Representatives for City Commissions and Other Organizations for 2021. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council appoint City Council Members and City Staff as <br />Representatives for City Commissions and other organizations for 2021. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he was willing to continue serving as the Council liaison to <br />the Planning Commission, Park Recreation and Forestry Commission, and the Economic <br />Development Commission. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron indicated he could serve as an alternate as the Council liaison. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller explained the Mayor serves as the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) liaison and <br />asked who could serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Hull reported he could serve as the LMC alternate. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller indicated the Mayor serves and the North Metro Mayor’s Association <br />representative along with the City Administrator. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak volunteered to serve as the alternate. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause noted he served as the Mounds View Business Council <br />representative. He noted any member of the Council could attend these meetings. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron and Council Member Hull stated they would be willing to continue <br />their service on the Development Review Committee. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak volunteered to serve as the Fire Board representative and Council <br />Member Meehlhause volunteered to serve as alternate.
