RESOLUTION NO 9390 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING NATE OSTLUND TO VACANT PUBLIC WORKS <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER — STREETS POSITION <br />WHEREAS, a Public Works Maintenance Worker — Streets position became available <br />due to a retirement on November 30, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement requires jobs be <br />posted internally for five (5) working days allowing members of the bargaining unit to be <br />considered for the vacancy; and <br />WHEREAS, staff advertised the Streets position internally and received letters of <br />interest from two (2) candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, staff evaluated both candidates and recommends appointing Mr. Ostlund <br />to the vacant Streets position at the end of February, or at such time when custodial services <br />have been arranged for the Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ostlund will start at Level A of the pay scale and advance to Level B <br />upon successful completion of one year within the position. <br />2021 Pay Plan <br />Level A <br />Level B <br />Level <br />$28.48 <br />$30.03 <br />_C <br />$31.61 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council hereby <br />appoints Nate Ostlund to the vacant Public Works Maintenance Worker — Streets Position <br />effective on or before March 1, 2021, when custodial services have been arranged for the <br />Community Center. <br />Adopted this 8th day of February 2021. <br />40-� <br />Carol Mueller, Mdyor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyl ikmu , City A ministrator <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thrivirxu IN-'sirable Crmr llnih• <br />
