RESOLUTION NO. 9399 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR YOUTH <br />DEVELOPMENT STAFF, EVENT CENTER HOST, SPORTS <br />INSTRUCTOR, AND SENIOR PROGRAMS COORDINATOR, AND <br />AUTHORIZE HIRING FOR THE POSITIONS <br />WHEREAS, Council recommended approval of the City operating a Parks and <br />Recreation Department during their October 12, 2020 meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, job descriptions have been created for the Youth Development Staff, <br />Event Center Host, Sports Instructor, and Senior Programs Coordinator; and <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resources Committee has had an opportunity to review <br />the job descriptions; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is requesting authorization to hire one (1) Youth Development <br />Staff; up to two (2) Event Center Hosts; up to three (3) Sports Instructors; and one (1) <br />Senior Programs Coordinator; and <br />WHEREAS, all positions will be part-time, non -benefit positions, and eligible for <br />PERA after 180 days of employment; and <br />WHEREAS, wages for the positions are as follows: <br />Youth Development Staff $13.00/Hour <br />Event Center Host $15.00/Hour <br />Sports Instructor $13.00/Hour <br />Senior Programs Coordinator $16.00/Hour <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />Approves the Job Descriptions for the Youth Development Staff, Event Center Host, <br />Sports Instructor, and Senior Programs Coordinator, as shown in Exhibit A, B, C, and D <br />(attached), and authorizes staff to fill the positions. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of February, 2021. <br />Carol A.
