Ifuflgikfffl AM <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW AND <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT <br />REMOVE COMMUNITY CENTER CUSTODIAN POSITION FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />COLLECTIVE BARGAIN UNIT LABOR AGREEMENT <br />This Memorandum of Understanding is made between the Public Works Collective Bargaining <br />Unit ("Union") and the City of Mounds View ("City.") <br />WHEREAS, on October 12, 2020, the City Council approved the City operating a Parks and <br />Recreation Department at the Mounds View Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, during this time period a Public Works Maintenance Worker retired and the <br />Community Center Custodian applied and received the promotion to fill the vacant position; and <br />WHEREAS, when the position of Community Center Custodian is filled, the City is requesting <br />to remove the position from the Labor Agreement and have the position report to the Parks and <br />Recreation Superintendent; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Superintendent has direct supervisory responsibilities for <br />Part Time Custodians at the Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the City and Union have agreed to amend the Labor Agreement for its remaining <br />term pursuant to the terms and conditions as outlined herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City and Union agree as follows: <br />The Public Works Community Center Custodian position will be removed from Article 28 of the <br />January 1, 2020 — December 31, 2022 Labor Agreement and the position will no longer be <br />included in the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit. <br />PUBLIC WORKS COLLECTIVE <br />BARGAINING UNIT <br />Christopher Atkinson <br />Bruce Meehan <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />Carol A.
