Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 974, Amending Chapter 802 of <br />14 the Mounds View City Code Relating to Parking Regulations and ordering <br />15 summary publication. <br />16 <br />17 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council adopt an Ordinance <br />18 that would amend Chapter 802 of the Mounds View City Code relating to parking regulations and <br />19 ordering a summary publication. He explained this Ordinance addressed parking and allows the <br />20 Public Works Director to declare snow emergencies. He reported staff has not received any public <br />21 feedback regarding the proposed City Code change. He indicated this was part of the GreenSteps <br />22 Cities program noting the City would have a new mass communications process in place. <br />23 <br />24 City Administrator Zikmund commented further on the new mass communication system the City <br />25 would be putting in place. <br />26 <br />27 MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron. To Approve a Budget Adjustment and Authorize <br />36 Staff to Purchase the Emergency Alert Communication System. <br />37 <br />38 Finance Director Beer questioned what the budget adjustment would be for this purchase.
