7A <br />Lambert. Oakwood. Greenfield. Hillview Parks <br />The Pinewood Civic League, formed in 1953, raised money and purchased land for <br />these parks from John Eastman, a developer in the Pinewood area. This land was then <br />donated to the Village. Purchase price for all four parks was $1,000. <br />Lambert Park Lambert Ave. & Jackson Dr. 3.2 acres <br />Oakwood Park Quincy & Hillview Road 2.4 acres <br />Greenfield Park Greenfield & Hillview Rd. 35.5 acres <br />Hillview Park Hillview Rd. & Long Lake Rd. 3.2 acres <br />Greenfield Park: has been expanded since the first acquisition through <br />acquiring tax forfeited land adjoining the park. <br />Groveland Park <br />This land was acquired from Otis Newton at the time the land for Ardan Avenue was <br />negotiated. The park is 4.1 acres, located at Groveland Road and Ardan Avenue. <br />Woodcrest Park <br />Woodcrest property was donated to the Village by Northeast Construction, in June <br />1964. The park is 3.2 acres, located at Silver Lake Road and Woodcrest Drive. <br />Ardan Park <br />In 1974, 8.8 acres was acquired from the Highway Department when new Highway 10 <br />went through. The property is located at Ardan Avenue and Long Lake Road. <br />Random Property <br />Located at Long Lake Road and Ridge Lane is a 1.5 acre plot for a future tot lot. This is <br />tax forfeited property. <br />Building moved to the Park in 2006 after the City Golf course closed. In XXXX the <br />playground was built. The basketball court was added in 2005 and rehabilitated in 2018. <br />Civic Center Park (Wayside Park City Hall Site in 1967 need to look at map for <br />City Hall Central Park?) <br />Located at the City Hall and has 12.9 acres. <br />2�''1 <br />
