CALL TO ORDER at 6:40 PM <br />2. ROLL CALL: Commissioners: Arel, Curry, Kroeger, Palm, Rundle, Sullivan, Zaiger <br />Staff: Peterson I YMCA: Thomas *to be absent <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion to approve by Palm to approve, 2"d by Zaiger. Motion <br />Passed 7-0 <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES February 27, 2020: Motion to approve by Kroeger, 2"d by Curry. <br />Approve by roll call vote. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight's agenda. Before speaking, please give your full <br />name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. Council Member Gary <br />Meehlhause: 7400 Parkview Drive. Changing due date for City utility billing from May 318t to <br />June 30th with NO late fee. Next billing due moved from August 31-, to mid -September and will <br />include late fees. <br />6. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. YMCA: See attached report. Closed since mid -March due to Governor Walz shelter in place <br />order. Been handing out food and providing meals to residents. Providing child care for <br />health care workers. Making wellness calls to senior citizens involved in the program. <br />Online fitness activities and FaceBook Live classes. Looking at summer program <br />opportunities and pushing back dates for smaller recreation leagues. Reservations for <br />Event Center and park buildings are cancelled or postponed. Coach of the Year -No new <br />nominations <br />B. Public Works: See attached report. Split -shifts to accommodate COVID-19 <br />recommendations. <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Continue review of City Parks <br />1. Random Park: Can move some playground features from old City Hall Park to Random <br />Park such as climbing wall, balance beam, merry-go-round. <br />2. Greenfield Park: Staff is fixing access to tennis court so it is ADA accessible. Many <br />parks are moving away from aglime infield. Should we move to grass infield? Consider <br />bleacher maintenance. Direct Staff to look into condition of the bleachers. <br />B. Park brochure — review and update: In the brochure, state capacity of people. For single <br />elements (fishing pier, disc golf, etc) could be an "other" category. Made updates to park <br />descriptions. Kroeger will make adjustments to the amenities table. Need to discuss t-ball <br />field at City Hall. <br />
