Mounds View City Council Work Session, April 5, 2021 32 <br />Residential Infill Redevelopment Questions <br />Does the City Council/EDA want to be involved in Residential Infill <br />Redevelopment? <br />If so, to what extent? Examples of what that might look like include but is <br />not limited to the following: <br />1.City to set aside funds to purchase additional residential property <br />necessary for infill developments <br />2.City to initiate contact with each individual home/property owner <br />3.City to organize and take lead on neighborhood meetings <br />4.City to create marketing materials and actively market each infill site <br />5.City to hold developer meetings and get developer commitment <br />6.City to initiate eminent domain when necessary <br />7.City to construct and install all streets, utilities, retention ponds, etc. <br />8.City to become the developer and market each lot <br />9.City to take on all costs, plating, engineering, site grading, etc. until can <br />recoup costs through sales of individual lots
