Mounds View City Council June 14, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />explained they were aware of the safety issues and the lack of response from the property owner <br />to these issues. <br /> <br />B. Public Hearing: Resolution 9429, Approving a Chicken-Keeping License <br />Request from Melinda Christensen at 2085 Terrace Drive. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve a chicken-keeping license for Melinda <br />Christensen for the property at 2085 Terrace Drive. He reported all necessary paperwork has been <br />submitted to the City and staff recommended approval of this request. It was noted the applicant <br />was requesting to have eight chickens. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:42 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9429, <br />Approving a Chicken-Keeping License Request from Melinda Christensen at 2085 Terrace Drive. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was taken. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 9430, Approving the Renewal of Mounds View Business Licenses <br />(Non-Liquor). <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the renewal of the Mounds View <br />Business Licenses (non-liquor). He reviewed the list of businesses noting five had issues with their <br />fire inspections and several had utility delinquencies. He reported the business licenses would not <br />be issued until these matters had been resolved. He commented further on the businesses seeking <br />licensure and recommended approval. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if Little Caesar’s had a problem renewing its business license <br />each year. City Administrator Zikmund stated it was his understanding something happened at a <br />corporate level just this year. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9430, <br />Approving the Renewal of Mounds View Business Licenses (Non-Liquor). <br /> <br />A roll call vote was taken. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D.
