RESOLUTION NO. 9436 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW 2021 FEE SCHEDULE REGARDING <br />MOBILE FOOD UNITS AND ICE CREAM TRUCKS <br />WHEREAS, annual revisions and updates to the City of Mounds View Fee <br />Schedule are necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, often times the need arises to amend the fee schedule more than just <br />once a year; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been a significant increase recently in inquires and requests <br />for mobile food units/food trucks in the City; and <br />WHEREAS, mobile food units/food trucks and ice cream/vending trucks are not <br />specifically addressed in the fee schedule and the City is currently using the fee schedule <br />for transient merchants and peddlers which is insufficient; and <br />WHEREAS, the City would like to address that insufficiency in the fee schedule; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the following fees have been created to specifically address mobile <br />food units/food trucks and ice cream/vending trucks: <br />Mobile Food Unit (MFU)/Food Truck <br />$25 per day <br />$100 per ten (10) days <br />$200 per thirty (30) days <br />400 per ear <br />Ice Cream/Street Vending Truck <br />$20 per day <br />100 per year <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby approve the above amendments to the 2021 Fee schedule. <br />Adopted this 14th day of June, 2021. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Atee "Z-44� <br />Carol A.
