To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9440, <br />Approving a Temporary On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for Festival in the Park of Mounds <br />View to Allow Big Ten Catering to Sell and Serve Liquor at the 2021 Festival in the Park, <br />Saturday, August 21, 2021. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Second Reading and Approval of Ordinance 976, An Ordinance Adopting the <br />Recodification of the Mounds View Municipal Code and Updating the City of <br />Mounds View’s 2021 Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt an Ordinance that would recodify the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code along with updating the Mounds View 2021 fee schedule. He <br />reported the Council held the first reading of this Ordinance two weeks ago and since that time <br />staff has received no further comments from the public. Staff recommended approval of the <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt <br />Ordinance 976, An Ordinance Adopting the Recodification of the Mounds View Municipal Code <br />and Updating the City of Mounds View’s 2021 Fee Schedule directing staff to publish an <br />Ordinance summary. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Cermak/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Public Hearing: First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 977, an <br />Ordinance Amending the Mounds View Municipal Code, Title XV, Chapter <br />160, Sections 160.198 and 160.218 related to Drive-Thru Businesses. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council introduce an Ordinance that <br />would amend the Mounds View Municipal Code related to drive-thru businesses. He explained <br />this amendment would allow a drive thru business as a conditional use in the B-3 zoning district. <br />He reported the proposed amendment would allow for greater flexibility within the B-3 zoning <br />district. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 6:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 6:57 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron.
