Tree Removal 4 5 City Administrator Zikmund stated the City has a resident that had diseased trees that were marked 6 and removed. He indicated this property changed ownership and the new owner was not notified 7 of the expense. He stated the new property owner does not want to pay the $857 bill. He explained 8 the City had made an error and the single mother now living in the home requested the City waive 9 the fees. 10 11 Consensus of the Council was to waive the fees for this tree removal. 12 13 City Administrator Zikmund commented on the stormwater issues along Silver Lake Road at 14 Silver View Pond. He reported the City would be done with its municipal water and street upgrades 15 in the next year. However, he noted the City's stormwater system needed work. He discussed the 16 six drainage and watershed areas in the City and noted the work needed on the City's stormwater 17 system would be a large project. He indicated he was meeting with representatives from outside 18 consulting agencies to discuss how to address this project. He stated some of the work may require 19 Ramsey County and the DOT to clean ditches and pipes. 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 Mayor Mueller recommended this topic be further discussed at a future worksession meeting.
