RESOLUTION NO.9449 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />SHANNON RAMIREZ, 8381 EASTWOOD ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance 903, which amended Chapter 701 <br />of the Municipal Code to provide limited and controlled raising and keeping of chickens <br />and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Shannon Ramirez has submitted an application with an approved site <br />plan and the appropriate fees to keep and raise chickens on her property located at 8381 <br />Eastwood Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application and it appears to meet all <br />requirements set forth in Ordinance 903; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 903, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held August 9, <br />2021; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken -Keeping License for Shannon Ramirez, 8381 Eastwood Road, <br />for no more than eight chickens or eight ducks or a combination of both; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this license is effective from August 10, 2021 <br />to December 31, 2021. <br />Adopted this 9t" day of August, 2021. <br />ATTEST: <br />(Seal) <br />AI Hull, Mayor Pro-Tem <br />A� ).2 <br />Nyle ikm nd, City Administrator <br />t_'on-unr,%rjrlv <br />
