RESOLUTION 9456 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SANITARY SEWER — CIPP (CURED -IN -PLACE -PIPE) AT THE <br />BRONSON LIFT STATION <br />WHEREAS, Staff over the last several months has responded to high level water <br />alarms at the Bronson Lift Station; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff determined that low flow, rough cast iron piping and flushable <br />wipes are causing back-ups in the sewer line and lift station; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff determined the best method for the necessary repairs is to install <br />CIPP (cured -in -pace -pipe); and <br />WHEREAS, Staff contacted two contractors to provide a quote to facilitate the <br />repairs: Visu-Sewer $11,935.00 and Insituform $14,950.00 <br />WHEREAS, the funding for these repairs is budgeted in the Sanitary Sewer fund, <br />730-4823-5150, which includes $15,000.00 for the manhole lining. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />The City hereby approves the quote from Visu-Sewer of Blaine MN, for <br />$11,935.00 for sewer repairs to the Bronson Lift Station. <br />2. Funding will be from the Sanitary Sewer Fund, 730-4823-5150. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4.
