RESOLUTION 9459 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Approving an On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for American Multi -Cinema, Inc. <br />for AMC Mounds View 15, 2430 Mounds View Boulevard <br />WHEREAS, American Multi -Cinema, Inc. has made application to the City of Mounds <br />View for an On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License (including Sunday Sales and an optional <br />2:00 a.m. Liquor License) for the AMC Mounds View 15, 2430 Mounds View Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, all new liquor license applications require a public hearing and approval <br />by the Mounds View City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held August 23, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, all applicable license application materials and fees have been <br />submitted to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, all property taxes and water/sewer charges are current; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Alcohol and Gambling <br />Enforcement, the State licensing entity, requires that the liquor liability insurance be in force <br />for the entire term of the Mounds View license period which is July 1 to June 30; and <br />WHEREAS, at this time American -Multi -Cinema, Inc., can only provide insurance that <br />runs from January 1 to December 31; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View will continue to work with American -Multi <br />Cinema, Inc. to obtain insurance that is valid from July 1 to June 30 or consider revising the <br />Mounds View City Code to reflect a liquor license period of January 1 to December 31. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve an On -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License (including Sunday Sales and an <br />Optional 2:00 a.m. Liquor License) for American Multi -Cinema, Inc. for AMC Mounds View <br />15, 2430 Mounds View Boulevard. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this license will expire December 31, 2021 to <br />coincide with the liquor liability insurance provided by American Multi -Cinema, Inc. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that this license will require renewal January 1, 2022. <br />Adopted this 23rd day of August, 2021. <br />Carol A.
