Mounds View City Council August 23, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 10 <br /> <br /> <br />I. Resolution 9464, Approving the Final Plat of Anthony Properties Second <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council approve the Final Plat for the <br />Anthony Properties Second Addition. He reported this plat was for the movie theater parking lot <br />and would subdivide one lot into three lots. He explained Lot 1 would be for Caribou Cabin, Lot <br />2 would be for the AMC Movie Theater and Lot 3 would provide additional parking for Moe’s. <br />He indicated no significant changes have been made to the plat since the Preliminary Plat was <br />approved, except for a minor change to the drainage plans. Staff recommended approval of the <br />Final Plat with the addition of Condition 11 stating: The developer shall reimburse the City for <br />consultant fees, including engineering and legal. <br /> <br />Mark Krogh, Java Companies, thanked the Council for their consideration. He stated he was <br />excited to get this project moving forward in Mounds View. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked what the difference was between this Caribou and the existing <br />Caribou in Mounds View. Mr. Krogh explained the Caribou Cabin would be a drive-thru only with <br />two to four workers. It was noted the Caribou Cabin would have outdoor seating. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9464, <br />Approving the Final Plat of Anthony Properties Second Addition as amended. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak stated the Cops against the Hoses softball game would be held on <br />Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at City Hall Park. She encouraged the public to come <br />out and cheer on these great public servants. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked all of the residents that attended the Festival in the Park <br />events and parade this past weekend. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron thanked the Festival in the Park Committee for planning and putting <br />on a tremendous family friendly event for the community. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller thanked Council Member Cermak for her tremendous dedication in the past to the <br />Festival in the Park. She thanked Catherine Smith for serving as the new Festival in the Park <br />Committee President. She thanked everyone who worked on the committee and volunteered at the <br />event. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller discussed the meetings she recently attended which included a Ramsey County <br />Dispatch Policy Committee meeting, Minnesota Women in City Government meeting, the
