RESOLUTION NO. 9471 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA REVIEW 60% OF DESIGN PLANS FOR THE 2022/2023 STREET PROJECT AND AUTHORIZATION TO CONTINUE WITH THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2022-2023 Street Project to include Pleasant View Drive and Spring Lake Road (as outlined on the attached map); and WHEREAS, Pleasant View Dr. is approximately 2,546 feet in length. Spring Lake Road North of Mounds Blvd is approximately 3,505 feet in length and maintenance has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as needed; and WHEREAS, Spring Lake Road South of Mounds View Blvd. is approximately 4,050 feet in length and maintenance has included seal coating, pothole patching and skim coating as needed; and WHEREAS, Stantec has provided the City with a proposed street design for the 2022-2023 Street Rehabilitation Project. (Design standards were approved by the City Council on October 22, 2007, Res 7176 as recommended by the Street and Utility Task Force.) WHEREAS, the City held a Public Information Meeting on August 25, 2021 to gain information from the residents in the proposed Street Rehabilitation Project, and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the proposed project at the September 7, 2021 Work Session. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. The City hereby approves the 60% plans as submitted by Stantec and further authorizes Stantec to continue in the design for the proposed 2022-2023 Street Rehabilitation Project of Pleasant View Drive, Pleasant View Court, 84th Ave N.E. and Spring Lake Road. 2. The City Council also authorizes the continued design of the trail on Spring Lake Road as proposed in the 60% street design.
