Don Peterson <br />From: <br />Sent: <br />To: <br />Subject: <br />Wednesday, August 25, 2021 9:39 PM <br />Don Peterson <br />Area K Street Project <br />Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution. <br />Hi Don, <br />I was at the public meeting this evening (8-25-2021) regarding the upcoming road projects (Ii'm in area K), and <br />I just wanted to say that I'm very happy this project is happening, and I thought the information and presentation <br />you gave was well organized and complete, especially for this phase of the project. <br />I was only able to stay for a couple of the questions in the Q&A portion of the meeting, but was a little bummed <br />to hear such strong sentiments against the project. I guess I understand some of the environmental concerns <br />expressed, but the tone of the questioners felt very anti -improvement. I'm sure you have a thicker skin than I, <br />but I just wanted to let you know that I'm grateful this project is happening, I hope it continues to happen, and I <br />thank you and your team for the work you're doing. <br />Thanks, <br />i <br />
