My sympathy with my neighbors on the west side, if it is on the West side I breathe a sigh of relief. If it's on the east side I do have about 9, no 5 mature trees that may be in peril of the 8 foot extension in my direction. That would be pretty tough to take. I live in Mounds View because of greenery, trees and relative tranquility so a major concern that I have about this project is that any widening of a very busy artery, already would invite, I suspect, even more traffic. Lot of people come from the north, they get off Highway 10 to avoid a terrible intersection at J and 65. They cut down Spring Lake Road to Mounds View Blvd. The rush hour is significant on the North end and any invitation to even more traffic is something I rather wary of and I think it is a safety issue for us to put it up into that kind of situation.
