RESOLUTION NO. 9478 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2022 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br />REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds <br />to improve recycling participation by the public; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br />administration and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation <br />among city residents through education, awareness and incentives; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this <br />is an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation <br />benefits the public health, safety and welfare of the community as a whole. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve the attached application for preliminary 2022 SCORE funding in the <br />amount of $32,631 and authorizes acceptance of any allocated funding. <br />Adopted this 25t" day of October, 2021 <br />Carol A.
