RESOLUTION 9481 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT (COLA), INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION, <br />AND INSURANCE OPT -OUT PAYMENT AMOUNTS FOR 2022 <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved by <br />Council Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a competitive compensation package and <br />has traditionally awarded the same cost of living adjustment and insurance contribution to all <br />employee groups in order to maintain internal equity; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has offered an Insurance Opt -out payment; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends a COLA increase of 3.00% for non -union employees <br />consistent with the three union contracts, a monthly insurance contribution of $1,170, employees <br />electing single or family health insurance receive $200 per month towards their Health Savings <br />Plan, and an insurance opt -out payment of $300 per month for all employees, effective January <br />1, 2022. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />approve a 3.00% Cost of Living Adjustment for non -union employees, a monthly insurance <br />contribution of $1,170, employees electing single or family health insurance receive $200 per <br />month toward their Health Savings Plan, and a monthly insurance opt -out payment of $300 for <br />all employees, effective January 1, 2022. <br />Adopted this 25t" day of October, 2021. <br />Carol A.
