September 23, 2021 <br />RE: Public Works Staff Report <br />The following is a synopsis of recent activities and events of the Public Works Department. <br />Maintenance <br />Staff worked on the following items since August 26, 2021; <br />• Splash pad cleaning —Winterizing <br />• Ball field game preparations and ball field maintenance <br />• Irrigation repairs and testing ongoing <br />• Field stripping and painting weekly <br />• Mowing, whipping, trash and litter pickup <br />• Fertilizing irrigated fields ongoing <br />• Painted weekly: Silverview soccer, flag football Hillview,City hall, Greenfield and Silverview <br />ballfields <br />• Pavillion cleaning: SV, Groveland, Hillview and Lambert <br />Forestry <br />Staff worked on the following items this last month: <br />Resident consults <br />Right of entry signatures <br />Hazard Tree remediation <br />• Storm clean up - Greenfield trail <br />• Disease tree letter mailing <br />• Planting bushes at well six and City Hall Park <br />The following is the List of Parks and projects / maintenance activities ongoing or planned this year. <br />Current updates are in black text, and updates from the previous two month period are in grey. <br />Ardan Park <br />• Working with Stantec Engineering on some drainage issues in the Park. Application to <br />perform some storm water pond maintenance was submitted to RCWD. <br />• Work to be scheduled for this winter — postponed at this time. Still working with contractor for <br />a date on completion. <br />• Work on ditch completed — some restoration needs to be finished. <br />City Hall Campus: <br />• New Picnic Shelters are being built, will be ready for next season rental. <br />1IPage <br />
