Minutes of the Economic Development Commission <br />City of Mounds View <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br />Regular Meeting <br />February 18, 2021 <br />City of Mounds View, Council Chambers <br />2401 County Road 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />1.CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Jim Freichels called the meeting to order at approximately 7:40 a.m. <br />2.ROLL CALL <br />Members Present: Chair Jim Freichels, Commissioners, Gary Stevenson, Lisa <br />Marquis, Gary Rundle, Donn Linstrom, & Jason Helgemoe <br />Members Absent: Vice Chair Dan Larson <br />Staff Present: Assistant City Administrator, Brian Beeman <br />Meeting Attendees: Gary Meehlhause, Nyle Zikmund <br />4.APPROVAL OF FEBRUARY 18, 2021 AGENDA <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Rundle moved and Commissioner Stevenson seconded <br />the approval of the February 18, 2021 EDC agenda. <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes, 0 Nays <br />5.APPROVAL OF JANUARY 21, 2021 EDC MINUTES <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Rundle moved and Commissioner Marquis seconded <br />the approval of the January 21, 2021 EDC minutes. <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes, 0 Nays <br />6.EDC BUSINESS <br />Review 2021 EDC Priorities <br />Assistant City Administrator Brian Beeman reviewed the EDC priorities from 2020 and <br />suggested deleting Tires N More from 1) c) for the 2021 list. The EDC recommended <br />changing the name of Rydell Auto to Bear Lot which is under new ownership and also <br />changing Western Bank to American National Bank and finally deleting priority number <br />seven. <br />Motion/Second: Commissioner Helgemoe moved and Commissioner Stevenson <br />seconded the motion to accept the 2021 EDC priorities as recommended. <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes, 0 Nays
