ORDINANCE NO.981 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 50, 90, 110, 111, 116 <br />AND 118 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL CODE <br />REGARDING EXPIRATION DATES FOR CITY -ISSUED LICENSES <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title V, Chapter 50, <br />Section 50.006(A)(6) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and <br />deleting the stFieken material as follows: <br />(6) Expiration of the license. No license issued shall be for a longer period than one year, and all <br />licenses shall expire on 3une-30 December 31 of each year. <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title IX, Chapter 90, <br />Section 90.003(H)(1) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and <br />deleting the str-ie-ke material as follows: <br />(1) Licensing requirements. The owner of a proposed dog kennel shall submit a license application to <br />the City Administrator. Upon receipt of the application, the City Administrator shall schedule a public <br />hearing at a future City Council meeting and shall notify all registered landowners or those occupying <br />land within 500 feet of the proposed kennel at least ten days in advance of the hearing. The kennel <br />license may be issued by the City Council by resolution after a public hearing is held. Kennel licenses <br />shall expire on 3uxe30 December 31 of each year. <br />SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title XI, Chapter 110, <br />Sections 110.020(B), 110.024, and 110.050(B) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the <br />underlined material and deleting the stake material as follows: <br />110.020 LICENSE FEES. <br />(B) Fees. The annual fee for all intoxicating liquor licenses shall be per the City's approved fee <br />schedule and shall be paid prior to june December 31 of each year. <br />110.024 EFFECTIVE DATE OF LICENSE. <br />All licenses shall expire on jug 30 December 31 of each year. Each license shall be issued for a period <br />of one year; except that, if a portion of the license year has elapsed when the application is made, a <br />license may be issued for the remainder of the year for a pro rata fee. In computing the fee, any <br />unexpired fraction of a month shall be counted as one month. <br />110.050 LICENSE FEES. <br />(B) Proration of fees. All licenses shall expire on 3ume 3A December 31 of each year. Each license <br />shall be issued for a period of one year; except that, if a portion of the license year has elapsed when <br />the application is made, a license may be issued for the remainder of the year for a pro rata fee.
