Resolution 9487, Approve the adding of a Conference Room and other City <br />Hall Improvements. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council approve adding a <br />conference room and other improvements to City Hall. He stated staff has been completing <br />upgrades to City Hall over the past three years, which included new walls, carpeting and painting. <br />He stated a new conference and training room was now being requested along with flooring for <br />the fitness area. Staff discussed the expenses for the proposed improvements and recommended <br />approval. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause questioned when the work would be completed. Public Works/Parks <br />and Recreation Director Peterson anticipated the work would carry over into 2022. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9487, <br />Approve the adding of a Conference Room and other City Hall Improvements. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated there was a need for additional conference room space since <br />the building was updated. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 981, Regarding Business License <br />Expiration Date. ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council hold the Second Reading and adopt an <br />Ordinance that would change the business license expiration date. He reported staff was <br />recommending the license renewal to December 1. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance <br />981, Regarding Business License Expiration Date. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Cermak/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. Introduction and First Reading, Ordinance 985, Amending the Zoning Map <br />for Properties at 4889, 4943 Old Highway 8 (Public Hearing to be held on <br />11/22/2021). <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council introduce an Ordinance <br />amending the Zoning Map for the properties at 4889 Old Highway 8 and 4943 Old Highway 8. <br />He noted this rezoning was being done for the new Skyline redevelopment. He reported a Public <br />Hearing for this matter would be held on November 22. <br />
