RESOLUTION 9490 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FOUR HOURS VACATION TO REGULAR FULL AND PART- TIME EMPLOYEES AS RECOGNITION OF EMPLOYEE DEDICATION IN 2021 WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has been fortunate to have a staff that supports the community in which they serve; and WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council wishes to show its appreciation to staff by granting four (4) hours of vacation time to all current regular full and part-time employees for recognition of their time and dedication to the community, to be used between November 23, 2021 and November 22, 2022; and WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council wishes to thank each department for their commitment to serving the public and following the core values as established within the City's Personnel Policies which are: • Work Ethic (cooperation and teamwork) • Positive Attitude (optimistic outlook) • Professionalism (conduct, behavior and attitude in a work environment) • Productivity (efficiency within the job) • Extraordinary Customer Service (exceed customer expectations) • Job Engagement (commitment to the position and the goals of the City) WHEREAS, the City Council believes retaining and motivating employees through employee appreciation supports employee job satisfaction, which in turn impacts cooperation and productivity. The result is to provide excellent public and customer service to better serve the interests of the citizens of the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Minnesota that the City of Mounds View authorizes four (4) hours vacation to regular full and part- time employees as recognition for employee dedication in 2021.
