Mounds View EDA September 27, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the EDA approve an amendment to the Loan <br />Origination Agreement with the Center for Energy and Environment. He discussed the <br />forgivable loan program staff had created per the EDA’s direction and commented on the <br />proposed agreement. It was noted the City had budgeted $50,000 for the next two years for this <br />program. If approved, this program would take effect on Friday, October 1. <br /> <br />Commissioner Meehlhause questioned what outstanding “bills” this program was referencing. <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman explained this was referring to outstanding City fees. <br /> <br />President Mueller asked if the fees noted were comparable to the fees paid in the past for <br />managing the EDA housing loan program. Assistant City Administrator Beeman reported this <br />program would be administered at half the price as previous loan programs. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 21- <br />EDA-347, Approving an Amendment to the Loan Origination Agreement with the Center for <br />Energy and Environment. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />7.
