RESOLUTION NO. 9513 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Adopting the 2022 Property Tax Levy <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted numerous meetings and has made available detailed copies <br />of the proposed 2022 Budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council provided the public an opportunity to speak at the Truth in Taxation meeting <br />on December 6, 2021 and at the several budget meetings to take comment on the proposed 2022 tax <br />levy; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Improvement Bonds and Notes will require debt service of $165,916 due to changes <br />in the allocation of costs between participating cities. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that the following <br />property tax levy for 2022 is hereby approved: <br />General Fund base levy $ 4,922,043 <br />Fire bonds and notes debt service 165,916 <br />PERA rate increase levy 39,145 <br />Police Referendum market value levy 2017 130,000 <br />Police Referendum market value levy 2004 255,000 <br />Total General Fund property tax levy $ 5,512,104 <br />Street Improvement Capital Projects Fund levy $ 150,000 <br />2017 Capital Improvement Bonds Debt Service levy $ 416,766 <br />Total Property Tax Levy $ 6 078 870 <br />and the City Administrator is hereby directed to notify Ramsey County and the State of Minnesota of said <br />2022 property tax levy. <br />Said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 13t" day of December, 2021. <br />Carol A.
