RESOLUTION NO. 9542 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE JOB DESCRIPTION OF HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR/CITY CLERK <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE PROMOTION OF RAYLA EWALD <br />WHEREAS, Rayla Ewald was hired as the Human Resources Coordinator on November <br />20, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Ewald has met and exceeded expectations in that position as well as <br />performed director level responsibilities, adding value to the City of Mounds View; and <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resource Committee met and reviewed the job description and <br />job title, agreeing both should be updated; and <br />WHEREAS, the Human Resource Committee reviewed compensation, agreeing to the <br />pay range as follows and: <br />Step 3 <br />Step 4 <br />Step 5 1 <br />$49.05 <br />( $51.78 <br />$54.50 <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Ewald is recommended to be assigned to Step 3 of the wage scale <br />effective with the next payroll after approval; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Ewald is recommended to be assigned to Step 4 on July 24, 2022; and. <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Ewald is recommended to be assigned to Step 5 on January 24, 2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED THAT the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View approves the following: <br />1. The Human Resources Director/City Clerk job description is approved. <br />2. Rayla Ewald shall be promoted to the Human Resources Director/City Clerk effective <br />January 24, 2022, and be assigned to Step 3 of the 2022 Compensation Plan. <br />3. Effective July 24, 2022, move to Step 4 of the 2022 Compensation Plan. <br />4. Effective January 24, 2023, move to Step 5 of the 2023 Compensation Plan. <br />Adopted this 24th Day of January, 2022 <br />- 4s e el'i �-, d� <br />� Carol A.
