RESOLUTION 9543 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A SEWER USE AGREEMENT WITH ARDEN HILLS, RAMSEY COUNTY <br />AND MET COUNCIL FOR THE TCAAP (TWIN CITIES ARMY AMMUNITION) SITE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills and Mounds View along with U. S. Department <br />of Army have had a Sewer Use Agreement in place since 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement allowed TCAAP to extend sewer pipe from their <br />property to the closest sewer system available (Mounds View) which then flowed into the <br />Met Council sewer system; and <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Army largely decommissioned the ammunition <br />site in the 1980's and in 2012 the City of Arden Hills entered into a JPA with Ramsey <br />County for future development; and <br />WHEREAS, in 2017 the City of Arden Hills requested that the sewer use <br />agreement be updated; Staff has been working with all entities involved to establish a <br />revised agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized <br />and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or <br />convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />Adopted this 24'" day of January, 2022 <br />r <br />M6ZI /Z'V-/�- <br />Carol A.
