RESOLUTION 9544 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE PROPOSAL FROM STANTEC ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />STORM WATER ASSESSMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City has the responsibility to efficiently operate the storm water <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, In 2021, the City Council reviewed the Storm water system and <br />approved the Request for Proposal (RFP) that would assess the overall operational <br />functionality of our system for the precise purpose of development of a capital and <br />maintenance plan (CIP) for the next decade — or longer; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff prepared the Storm Water RFP assessment and sent this to <br />Stantec Engineering Services, Barr Engineering, and AE2S; Stantec and AE2S <br />submitted a proposal. (Barr Engineering elected not to participate.); and <br />WHEREAS, Staff met with both Stantec and AE2S to review their proposals; and <br />WHEREAS, the individual meetings made it clear that Stantec provided a much <br />more detailed proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the current Master Service Agreement with Stantec allows the City <br />to move forward with the Storm Water Assessment as per the RFP and can be <br />completed using "Task Order" as outlined in the agreement per the City Attorney. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the proposal from Stantec Engineering Services for the Storm Water <br />Assessment per the RFP a cost of $150.000.00. <br />2. Funded from the Storm Water Department 2022 adopted budget account 745- <br />4415-3030. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by <br />this resolution. <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby <br />authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions <br />necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br />
