RESOLUTION 9555 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE 2021 SANITARY SEWER <br />REHABILITATION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the 2021 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation <br />Project — CIPP (cured -in -place -pipe) and awarded the project to Granite Inliner LLC, of <br />Hugo. MN; and <br />WHEREAS, Granite Inliner LLC. completed all project construction and met all other <br />contract requirements for the project with the substantial completion date of December 15, <br />2021 and a final construction cost of $471,373.00 and <br />WHEREAS, Staff and its engineering consultant, Stantec Consulting Services, <br />recommend accepting the completed construction work and issuing final payment for <br />$49,999,55 to Granite Inliner LLC.; and <br />WHEREAS, Granite Inliner LLC, has submitted the final paper work and all close out <br />paper work as required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Accepts work completed under the contract between the City and Granite Inliner LLC, <br />for the 2021 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project-CIPP. <br />2. The Finance Director is authorized to issue final payment for $49,999.95 to Granite <br />Inliner LLC, for completing construction of the project. <br />3. Staff will release the final check after all necessary final paper work according to the <br />contract is turned in. <br />Adopted this 28th Day of February, 2022 <br />Carol A.
