RESOLUTION NO. 9557 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPOINTING CHAIR FOR THE PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY COMMISSION <br />FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR OF 2022 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 33 establishes the <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission makes recommendations to the City Council as it relates <br />to all City Parks for Capital Improvements, maintenance and recreation activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View Municipal Code, Section 33.060 states that <br />based upon the recommendation of the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission, the City <br />Council, shall appoint a Chairperson; and <br />WHEREAS, During the Commission's January 27, 2022 meeting, the Commission <br />recommended Commissioner Gerald Arel be appointed as Chair for 2022. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council hereby <br />appoints Commissioner Gerald Arel as Chair of the Mounds View Parks, Recreation and <br />Forestry Commission, for the year 2022. <br />Adopted this 28t" day of February 2022. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carol A.
